The Brow Remedy

**PLEASE NOTE: By booking an appointment, this means that you understand & agree to all policies, contraindications, and pre/post care instructions that must be followed, which can be found below*** DEPOSIT: A non-refundable $100.00 deposit is required to book an appointment for all new clients. 100% of the deposit is applied to the balance due at the appointment. RESCHEDULING: Rescheduling within 48 hours of an appointment is considered a last minute reschedule. In the case of a last minute reschedule, another deposit will be required. CANCELLATION: Cancellation within 48 hours of an appointment is considered a last minute cancellation. In the case of a last minute cancellation, a $150.00 fee will be charged to the card on file. NO SHOWS: Please give a call/text/email if you cannot make it to your appointment. Otherwise, your card will be charged 100% of the service fee. LATE CLIENTS: If you will be running 15 or more minutes late, please notify me via text or call. Otherwise, we may have to reschedule. GUESTS: Guests of any kind are strictly prohibited. The only person allowed at the appointment is the person having work done. WORK FROM ANOTHER ARTIST: If you’ve previously had work done from another artist, please send a clear photo of your brows with no makeup or filters to 504-644-1177. Usually, the pigment should be faded 90-100% or more in order for my to work over it. Booking an appointment without doing so may result in cancellation of the appointment and forfeiture of the deposit. •CONTRAINDICATIONS• *All clients must read & understand the contraindications listed below prior to booking an appointment. If any of the listed contraindications apply to you, it is possible that you may not be a suitable candidate for any permanent cosmetics procedures. If you have any questions or would like more details, please contact me at 504-644-1177* -Under 18 years of age -Pregnant/Nursing -History of keloids or hypertrophic scarring -Use of Accutane within the past 6 months of scheduled appt -Use of steroids such as Cortisone, Accutane, Retin-A, or Retinova -Skin irritation, Psoriasis, Rosacea, or Eczema near brow area. This also includes sunburn, rashes, acute acne, etc. -Chemotherapy (must consult doctor) -Viral infections or diseases -Botox within 3 weeks of scheduled appt -Chemical peels or other facials within 2 weeks of scheduled appt -Spider veins in brow area -Diabetes -Lupus -Hepatitis B/C -Sickle Cell hi -Hemophilia -Pink eye -Herpes Simplex -High blood pressure or heart condition •PRE-CARE INSTRUCTIONS• *Pre-care instructions MUST be followed prior to appointment for desired results. Failure to do so may result in having to reschedule your appointment & forfeiture of deposit* -No waxing or tinting of brows 1 week prior to appointment. -Avoid tanning/excessive sun exposure 1 week prior to appointment. -Avoid taking fish oil or vitamin E 1 week prior to appointment. -No facials of any kind 2 weeks prior to appointment. -No chemical peels or laser treatments 60 days prior to appointment. -Avoid working out/breaking a heavy sweat the day of appointment. -No Botox 3 weeks prior to appointment. -Absolutely NO ALCOHOL OR CAFFEINE 24-48 HOURS PRIOR TO APPOINTMENT. (I know this may be hard but you can do it!) -No aspirin, ibuprofen, or any other blood thinners 24-48 hours prior to appointment. •AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS• *Everything you need to take care of your brows will be given to you in an aftercare kit at your appointment* -Once you leave your appointment, blot your brows every few minutes for 1 hour with the cotton pad or paper towel. -A few hours post appointment, apply the healing balm in your kit. Only apply a rice grain size. This should cover both brows. A small amount goes a long way. Balm lasts for 2+ appointments. -The day after your appointment, you will wash brows 2x a day (morning and night) & apply balm 3x a day (morning, noon, night) For washing, only use the brow wash in aftercare kit and wash brows outside of shower. 1-2 pumps, gentle wiping motion, no scrubbing. Rinse with like warm water, pat dry with a clean paper towel. You will do this routine for 2 weeks. -Avoid getting brows wet for 2 weeks. This includes sweat, swimming, saunas, etc. Remember to wash face & brows outside of the shower. -No excessive direct sunlight, no picking/scratching/touching brows, and no sleeping directly on brows for 2 weeks. -No makeup, face wash, shampoo/conditioner, SPF, serums, lotions, etc. for 2 weeks.
